LOST

This morning I went for a hike at Bukit Shahbandar..... third one in four days... Despite using the usual trail, I got lost and only managed to go out after almost 3 hours...... In the usual trail, I usually have to go through 2 vallies and today I had to go through 7 vallies ..... five of which were real scary as they were all deep in the jungle.... Lesson of the day: NEVER HIKE ALONE and STICK TO THE GYM.

On other matter, today is Muhammad Adidarwish Hisyamuddin' Birthday. He is five years old today. Happy Birthday son and stay belabih..........

HE IS OFFICIALLY 4!

Yes people..... Muhammad Adidarwish Hisyamuddin is officially 4 today.... Well at least that's what he thought or believed. He was actually already 4 many months ago..... on the 24th of March. But he refuses to be 4 all this time even after much persuasion. Here's the story .... We actually already celebrated his 4th birthday in KK but we could not get him a birthday cake there. In addition, a week after his birthday I was sent to Penang for a month long course. As a result we did not get to PROPERLY (cutting a birthday cake as a definition of what Birthday is supposed to be by Darwish) celebrate his birthday. So today on my wife's birthday, she decided to give up her cake for Darwish.... so instead of decorating the cake with her name, the cake was decorated with his name and a big number 4 (to get the message through....). So during Sungkai time just now he got to cut HIS cake .... and ladies and gentlemen, he is officially 4.......................

I may not be a poetic person and definitely I fail big time when it comes to being expressive... but deep inside you are the one and only..... LOVE from me, Bazilah, Hakimah and Darwish....... 25th March is always one of the proudest moment in my life..... This date marks the day in which Muhd Adidarwish Hisyamuddin was brought to the world.... It was exactly before the Maghrib call for the prayer. My missus and I purposely gave him a long name coz we believed that he was going to be our one and only son blessed to us (after four years being the youngest, it seems like that he is our only son....) Happy 4th Birthday son!!! We all love you so much!

7.30am tomorrow is the 9th birthday of Dayini Hakimah. It seems like yesterday that she was born. I remembered it was World Cup 1998 fever and only few hours before she was born, Brazil was beaten by France during the quarter final round (Not sure if it was really quarter final).

Happy Advanced 9th Birthday. We (daddy, mummy, kakak Auni and Darwish) love you and we are always very proud of you (whatever your achievements are - successful or not - at least you try!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AUNI BAZILAH

11 years ago we were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Auni Bazilah. I actually witnessed her delivery right from the moment of my wife's admission into the delivery room (Thanks to one of Brunei's royalties who was also waiting for his wife to give birth). During that time, no husbands were allowed to accompany their wives in the delivery room. That was 11 years ago three days before Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. While waiting for my wife in labour pain, some of the midwives there were also busy "mungulung popia" and in doing so were occasionally asking my wife about the pain (Duhh.... and double duhhh uhhh... ). BTW there was "Hari Raya" song in the air too. He he he....... (Festivites during that time....) I was angry then (my wife being left there unattended) but if me and my wife recalled it back, it has now becomes something of a cherishable memory. But because of this attitude, the second and the third were delivered at JPMC hospital.

Witnessing myself the agonizing pain, made me realized how difficult it is to carry a burden as a wife and a mother. To my daughter Happy Birthday and to my wife thanks for the "fruit of our love" and to my late mother, thanks for bringing me to this world.
