HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AUNI BAZILAH

11 years ago we were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Auni Bazilah. I actually witnessed her delivery right from the moment of my wife's admission into the delivery room (Thanks to one of Brunei's royalties who was also waiting for his wife to give birth). During that time, no husbands were allowed to accompany their wives in the delivery room. That was 11 years ago three days before Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. While waiting for my wife in labour pain, some of the midwives there were also busy "mungulung popia" and in doing so were occasionally asking my wife about the pain (Duhh.... and double duhhh uhhh... ). BTW there was "Hari Raya" song in the air too. He he he....... (Festivites during that time....) I was angry then (my wife being left there unattended) but if me and my wife recalled it back, it has now becomes something of a cherishable memory. But because of this attitude, the second and the third were delivered at JPMC hospital.

Witnessing myself the agonizing pain, made me realized how difficult it is to carry a burden as a wife and a mother. To my daughter Happy Birthday and to my wife thanks for the "fruit of our love" and to my late mother, thanks for bringing me to this world.
