I NEED STRESS BUSTER

What a stressful week. For me a heavy workout is a stress buster. Went to the gym and did the following:

  • 10 minutes walk at 6.5K/hr
  • 5K run at a speed between 10.8K/hr to 13.5K/hr (Good pace today: 5mins 02secs per K)
  • 25 minutes on the elliptical machine (resistance = 8)
  • Some weight lifting focusing on the shoulders and the arms
  • Two 1K sprints: First sprint = 3mins 52secs, second sprint = 4mins 03secs)
  • 5 minutes walk at 6.5K/hr
Note: My weight as of this morning = 78kg

SOMEBODY PINCH ME!

Went to the gym early and I was lucky coz' it was opened 20 minutes earlier than it should be. Went to the electronic weighing machine and hit the scale at 79kg. What?????????? *Insert expression of denial with traces of happiness*. Refused to believe it so I stepped down and reweighed myself again and the reading was still the same. Well, good for me! Months ago my target weight was 75kg. But now, I want 70kg. He he... very ambitious!

After weighing myself I started my workout with a 10 minutes walk at a speed of 6.3K/hr followed by a 5K run at a speed between 10.7K/hr to 13.5K/hr. The following chart summarises the run. Very happy with today's pace, 5mins 05secs per kilometer.

After the run, I then used the Reebok Body Trec (elliptical machine) for 35 minutes at a resistance of 8. This machine was so butt wrecking! After using this machine I then played around with the dumb bells (is it really called dumb as in "dumb dumb"? Hmm... whatever). I think I am going to incorporate weight lifting in my workout schedule next week. I ended today's workout with a 5 minutes sprinting at a speed between 13.5K/hr to 15K/hr. Well, that's what I called SATISFACTION!!!

Met Mr SiRT. Nice to meet you just now. You look 5 years younger bro! Keep up the good work and have a nice workout.............
