MAY BE....

I have been an avid fan of Adidas products especially their running shoes.... I saw somebody using the following this morning..... I like.... I might get one .... *wink*....

On other matter, I went to FZ this morning. I did 3K (in less than 21 minutes) before Ferdie's cycling class. I did another 3K after the class..... the second 3K I did it in less than 20 minutes (19 minutes 55 seconds)....... (A reminder to myself: few years ago before the injury, I used to do 3K in under 15 minutes..... )

ANOTHER RUNNING SHOES

Bought myself another pair of running shoes today coz I love my megabounce so much that I don't want it to worn out too soon. Starting from today I will use my two running shoes alternately ..... This adidas exerta is superb......

To date I am down to 89Kg......... If I can do it one kg per week.... that would be great......

PLAYLIST-LESS RUN

Like I said in my previous post, problems nowadays come and go, and yet today another problem came. I was just about to start my run when I realised that my ipod was empty, not even one song to accompany my run. I must have erased them by accident recently when I down-loaded i-tunes into my other lappy. Luckily the gym was playing running beat musics. Thank you very much.

I did 5K in a respectable time of 25minutes 10seconds. Must be the new shoes. My wife also did a better 5K (38minutes 12seconds). Must also be her new shoes. After the run, I used the elliptical machine for 45 minutes (a combination of Himalayan trek and Steady climb courses; Resistance between 8 to 10).

Met Mr Sirt today when we were just about to finish our workout. Nice to have your acquaintance and looking good bro...... And happy running shoes hunting! Hey! why not hint your fiance for "hantaran". He he.......

OK... got to stop now. Got to be ready for the movie-date with my daughters!!! (My wife is not much of a movie goer. She sleeps throughout the movie!) Spiderman 3, here we come!!!!

ADIDAS A3 QUICKRIDE TEST-RUN

I went to Damuan Recreational Park to test-run my new running shoes. After the run, I can conclude that the shoes are very comfortable and as a result of that I was able to run 8K in under 40 minutes (39minutes and 47seconds to be exact) for the very first time, despite the running course being very hard just like any typical road running course. Could it be the motivation due to the new running shoes? Hmmm.... may be. Typical right? We do better with new gadgets or equipments.

I got problem with my "Print Screen" key since the recent "computer-key-plucking" incident by my son. It just wouldn't want to function. As a result, I could not copy my running chart documented in Nikeplus.com. It seems that there will be no more running charts to display for the time being until the problem can be resolved.

Lately problems come one after the other but lucky me, they come and go...... they never stay! (So far..... )

RUNNING SHOES REVIEW FOR MR SIRT

My first choice in my quest for a very good pair of running shoes was actually Adidas Megabounce for Men. Unfortunately it was not available at this time around and since I really need a pair of running shoes, I have to settle last night with a second best, Adidas A3 Quickride. It costs me B$119/=. After walking around in them this morning at school, I can say that Adidas A3 Quickride is a well-worth-money-spending-on running shoes. The most comfortable pair of running shoes I ever owned and they are very light too.

Adidas A3 Quickride (according to the specification on the box):
  • 2- layer uppers for a comfortable fit (comfortable it is indeed)
  • slip-resistant lining
  • comfortable EVA cushioning
  • insole in A3 element structure for improved shock-absorption
  • 3D Torsion below the arch support for stability
  • adiwear sole (a very strong abrasion-resistant material)

Adidas Megabounce for Men: This one should costs around B$169/= since its version for women (bought by my wife) costs B$169. I have been eyeing for this for a very long time and if I remember correctly this is also Mr Freakingly Charming's wish list.
Adidas Shock Absorption: I have tried these shoes last night also. I think it is just as good as Adidas A3 Quickride. If I have more money I would have bought them as well last night "Hint" and "Wink" at my wife.

RUNNING SHOES PAMPERING

My wife and I just came back from running shoes hunting. We have this urge to buy running shoes to motivate ourselves in running and to make us feel less guilty, we were actually convincing ourselves that the shoes are present to each other for our forthcoming 12th wedding anniversary. My wife got herself Adidas Megabounce W while me, got myself Adidas A3 Quickride.
