This morning I cycled along the same route I used during my first outdoor cycling. This time I managed to do it in just under 2 hours..... about one hour 50 minutes to be exact. I felt that it is safer to cycle on Sundays compared to any other days. So I will only cycle outdoor every Sunday.

WAS I "SMOKING" HOT?
I think I was "smoking" hot early this morning when I managed to renew my personal best for 5K.
22 MINUTES 18 SECONDS
I wish I can show the running chart but as mentioned before, my nike+ipod did not function well in terms of uploading data from the gadget into the computer. I think it is about time for me to bring my gadget to the "clinic".
BTW, Murabiyyah and Reza, how are your gadgets doing? Do they serve you guys well? GRRRR!!!!

ANOTHER 10K
I did another 10K run this morning with a comfortable time of:
49 MINUTES 33 SECONDS
PS: I hate my Nike+ipod!!!
After one week working out, I still have the extra 3 kg that I have gained during this festive season...

NEW PERSONAL BEST FOR 10K
Amazing day. I went to Bukit Shahbandar this morning to do a 10K run along the highway. I have no expectation what so ever. I just need to do a long run after the fasting month. It was somehow the most comfortable run ever and at the end of the run, I managed to clock:
47 minutes 25 seconds

OFF HIATUS
I am back again. After a month of fasting, what did I gain? Definitely PAHALA (hopefully)..... and apart from this, I also gained 3Kg. Time for me to get my act right. So I went to Bukit Shahbandar to do some exercise.... walking to start with. By tomorrow (hopefully), I should be able to run again.... Lets see.
By the way, after the run this morning, I was sore all over especially my calves. Its just like I have never done any run before ..... As if it is something new........

JERUDONG HIGHWAY RUN
I asked my wife to drop me at JIS and started my run there towards "Bukit Shahbandar". The following chart speaks:
It was a wonderful and comfortable run and I wish I could do more. Next time I will ask my wife to drop me in such a way that I can run 10K in one stretch. While waiting for my wife to finish her workout, I walked briskly down the hill of "Bukit Shahbandar" and it took me about 40 minutes to finish the 5K walk.

ADIDAS A3 QUICKRIDE TEST-RUN
I went to Damuan Recreational Park to test-run my new running shoes. After the run, I can conclude that the shoes are very comfortable and as a result of that I was able to run 8K in under 40 minutes (39minutes and 47seconds to be exact) for the very first time, despite the running course being very hard just like any typical road running course. Could it be the motivation due to the new running shoes? Hmmm.... may be. Typical right? We do better with new gadgets or equipments.
I got problem with my "Print Screen" key since the recent "computer-key-plucking" incident by my son. It just wouldn't want to function. As a result, I could not copy my running chart documented in Nikeplus.com. It seems that there will be no more running charts to display for the time being until the problem can be resolved.
The Computer-Key-Plucking Expert
Lately problems come one after the other but lucky me, they come and go...... they never stay! (So far..... )

RUNNING NIKE+IPOD-LESS UNDER THE SCORCHING HOT SUN
My JPMC gym membership had expired last week and until the first of May, I will have to run outdoor. Today my wife and I went to Padang Belapan near the Stadium. I can say running on a track is sooooooo boring because you will have to endure the same scenery for many laps. Many times during the run you have this urge to stop but thanks to my strong will power I managed to run longer despite the boredom. To make matter worse today, my Nike+ipod was not behaving as it should be. I could see my running time was clearly recorded on the screen but somehow the distance was not recorded. Throughout the run, the distance appeared on the screen was ZERO Kilometer. I don't know what's wrong with it and right now time is a precious "commodity" for me to waste worrying over this "misbehaving" gadget. I will work it out later.
By the way, today I managed to cover 25 laps (equivalent to 10K) in 54mins 32secs. Actually I wanted to stop twice: once at 15 laps mark and the other time was at 20 laps mark. But, like I said, my will power was so strong today that I managed to complete the run in 25 laps.

RUNNING UNDER THE SCORCHING HOT SUN
It was hot this morning at the Stadium but somehow I can say it was the most comfortable outdoor run ever. I managed to cover 8K in about 41 minutes but only at the end of the run I discovered that my dear Nike+ipod gadget was not functioning. The time was perfectly recorded on the screen but the distance was not at all recorded. Something wrong with my beloved gadget. I will try calibrating it tomorrow.
One student asked me yesterday: "Why didn't you join other teachers for the relay run?". Here's my response "If I want to run, I would do it for fun. If I sign in for the relay, then other members in the team would expect the team to win...." That's basically what I said. I don't want the pressure, I just want the fun of participating. That's what usually lacking in school sports meet. Its always about winning. He said further: "But you love to run?"...... I love, love, love to run, yes. But I run for fun, for my health and fitness but not for competition.
Lately, I can't seems to find time for running. I would love to run as often as possible like I did during the last first term holiday. Time for running is no longer a luxury to me and time is always not on my side lately. As of today, I must set a goal to run at least three times a week. Yes I must do this.....
